Thank you Gary for being there for me, my brothers, my dad and so many others through so many memories. Thank you for the stories and laughs you'd share that bring a smile to my face every time I think of them. You gave us advice, laughter, a listening ear and an appreciation for what matters in life. Your warmth, honesty, humor and genuine nature that brought so much into this world will be so sorely missed by all that were lucky enough to know you. Rest in peace.

First met Gary in 1989, he was friends with my husband Martin. Through over 35 years he was always the same. A kind and gentle man who was a good bloke. The happiest we ever saw him was when he met Melinda and her children. He found his family and the love of his life. I will miss the big hug he always gave me. End of an era..

I’m deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend, who was such a big part of my life during our formative years. He had a smile and a laugh that could brighten any moment, and his positivity left a lasting mark on me. His mother carried that same warmth, and I always felt a sense of light and kindness from both of them. I will always cherish the memories we shared, and I’m grateful to have had such a friend.

I will always keep the memories of our chats around the table drink in hand our silly midnight kitchen dancing our little trips away .While you spread you wings and watch over us ..Feel rest assured I will always be Jays shoulder to lean on and will be there for your beloved Melinda ,for now she may wear a mask that holds a smile but in time when sorrow fades little by little to allow happy memories of the love you shared and forever will ,that mask will fall to smile ,with only the happy thoughts of you and the many years you shared together . He never looked for praises he was never one to boast he just went on quietly working for those he loved the most. His dreams were seldom spoken his wants were very few and most of the time his worries went unspoken too. He was there … a firm foundation through all the storms of life a sturdy hand to hold onto in times of stress and strife. A true friend we could turn to when times were good or bad one of our greatest blessings the man that chose to be our Dad

Gazza life isn’t fair I’m sorry.. Thankyou for being the geezer that you are and have been, thanks for the advice and being a key to some of the biggest moments in my life means a lot and thankful I got to share these moments gonna miss our chats and you having a moan up about something.
